We are trying to track down Rodney Ison who used to own Richard Haworth's studio in Preston New Road, Blackburn prior to moving to Ramsbottom. We were hoping that Rodney may have had some photographs of the building and interior or have some knowledge of the occupation of the studio by James Hargreaves Morton back in 1916?
We are working on a book about the life of the talented Darwen artiist, James Hargreaves Morton. Colonel Porritt was involved in sending out crayons and drawings to the Front in 1918 to enable him to continue his work in France and also received some of his pictures from the Front.
